light at the end of the tunnel
So - its official - there is light at the end of the (seemingly never ending) SCHOOL tunnel! If I can continue at the current pace - I will graduate Dec 2010! (Finally a time frame that I can fathom!) At this point it is more about proving something to myself, and finishing what I started (what seems like AGES ago -- okay-- "just" 8 years on and off!!) than any of the reasons I started this insanely long journey! Sadly - I have determined that this "piece of paper" as I have come to longingly call it- will probably be LESS USEFUL than people seem to let on... SURELY the time, money, and effort will be worth something to someone besides just me....

You're almost there...you can do it! And I can promise "that piece of paper" is going to look really awesome framed and hung on your wall.
ReplyDeleteI agree and as much as matting and framing is it will cost approximately 1 credit hour of cost at OCU to frame it. But that is what is all about good for you and your future success.
ReplyDeleteSee you in class tonight.

I found out yesterday that I am on target to graduation Spring 2010!!! I agree the light at the end of the tunnel is shinning brighter! Maybe we can get a group rate on matting and framing!!
ReplyDeleteI am really proud of you! Although we all know how great you are (because we know you) having an expensive piece of paper tells everyone who doesnt know you that you are a super-smarty-pants who deserves a higher salary.
ReplyDeleteWow, you used "Light at the end of the Tunnal" phrase. I say WOW becaues just two weeks ago my dad made the same quote when I contemplated quiting school. BTW... Fall of 2012 will mark another milestone in my formal education if all goes well. And lastly, congradulations.
